In our wheelwright’s workshop, we can repair or completely reproduce wooden structures for pre-war vehicles. We have the necessary know-how and the professional expertise to make the wooden structures using traditional methods.

When restoring the wooden framework under the metal sheeting, we attach a great deal of importance to preserving as much of the old wooden substance as possible. To this end, we use the same woods (ash, in most cases) that were used in the original vehicle. We assemble the wooden parts with the same mortise dowel joints and screwing techniques used in the past to maintain the vehicles’ originality.

In addition to repairs, we can also make new wooden frames for replicas or vehicle mock-ups. What’s more, we also make all the interior fittings and other wooden parts that add that all-important special touch to vintage cars.
